We just stayed here for the weekend and would highly recommend. The thing that stood out was the excellent staff - they couldn’t be nicer. We really enjoyed the breakfast, a wonderful selection and very calm laid back atmosphere so we could get up late and really enjoy it. A lovely selection of food, juices, etc. The room was lovely despite going for one of the smaller options. It was my husbands birthday and the staff really went out of their way to make it special with champagne in the room and in the bar. All in all - excellent.

I stayed at Nobis with my husband for 6 nights, choosing it due to it being part of the Marriott Bonvoy Autograph collection, since my husband is a Platinum member. We arrived midday, and because of my husband’s status, was granted early check in, which we were incredibly grateful for, after a long journey without sleep. Our room was on the second floor, close to the elevator. Despite that, it was quite quiet in the hotel and we never had issue with noise. The room was as big as you’d expect in a major European city, and thoughtfully decorated. We liked the aesthetics, and had all the amenities we needed. We did wish there was more storage space, and thought the space at the entrance of the room could have been better utilized. As a platinum benefit, we were given complimentary breakfast. It was a nice continental style buffet but we were tired of it by the third day. I would have liked to see more options rotated out, maybe with more of a focus on local foods. They had some specialty danishes, local juices and tea but there could have been more. The hotel has a nice sauna and ice tub room next to the gym on the bottom floor. We visited the sauna a couple times and my husband used the plunge tub — way too cold for me so I passed. It was a beautiful room, just be aware the floor gets very slippery when wet. Location wise it was about a 10 min walk from the train station and close to several attractions, including Tivoli. The hotel staff were professional and courteous. Overall, our stay was pleasant and we’d stay again.

Location is very good, just ten minutes walk from Radhuspladsen and Copenhagen Central stations with easy access to all the places you want to visit. My wife liked this hotel, but unfortunately I didn’t quite so much. I found the boutique style just a bit sterile: the bar and restaurant are at level -1, so the entrance area is always very quiet and unpopulated. There is a break out room off the reception desk, which is invariably empty: I felt it would have been improved by removing the portioning wall and opening it out into one larger space. The offer of a City/Tourist map on arrival would have been welcome, although we saw that complimentary Glogg was provided and we helped ourselves: a nice touch in the run up to Christmas. We were also given a voucher for a (large) glass of sparkling English wine, which was delicious and generous. My main disappointment was the room. You need a degree in electrical engineering to work out the lighting - I don’t have one, so couldn’t. The lighting design is ridiculous and I twice banged my head on the lights hovering above the bed despite my best efforts to manoeuvre them out of the way. I also managed to walk into the metal four poster frame during the night. The walls are thin and the sound of our neighbours walking around at night felt like they were coming into my room. This wasn’t helped by the door having no lock, so I found it hard to relax and get to sleep. The bathroom is compact but smart and modern. If you move all the bits and pieces out of the way, there is enough storage space for your toiletries. The shower was really good. The heating was generous but blocked out by the full length curtains which covered the radiator vents, somewhat defeating the object. There are no blinds so we had to draw the curtains for privacy as we were on the ground floor, right next to the street. Everywhere is very modern and well maintained. Housekeeping, not done on our first day, was comprehensive on our remaining days. The bed was spacious and extremely comfortable. My pre-selected MB preference for foam pillows was unfortunately not recognised. Despite my MB status in being eligible for a complimentary upgrade, none was offered. I understand this was because the hotel is an affiliate of the MB group and not a group member. Or something like that. Even so, I felt a little disappointed. On departure, I was thanked for staying but not asked how my stay was. These are small, trivial things but it's what sets apart the good from the really good. In summary, the hotel was very comfortable, smart, quiet and clean. It carries an air of calm exclusivity, as you would expect at £300 p/n. The photos on the website are very accurate. I felt that the Nobis is fairly pricy but it is a stylish and smart property and will satisfy guests who are less hard to please than I am.

Rip off at bar

This hotel has a bar that rips customers off. I’m a Bonvoy Titanium member who went here today to have food and drinks with business colleagues. On the menu the price per drink is listed next to the beverage. What they don’t tell you clearly is that the price is per-cL. And a CL is approximately 1/5 of an ounce. So we each ordered a drink at the impression of good value for a full pour which ended up being 5x the price on the menu. Thus we paid over $250 USD for 3 drinks. The irony is that the wine in the menu was priced by the glass. I argued with the bartender over the bill (he was not explicit anbout the price per CL) and when I requested to speak to the manager, he said nobody in management was available. Ultimately it was an overpriced experience where a lack of transparency in pricing led to a ridiculous bill that could have been avoided by selecting something in the price range we were looking for. Planning to go back to the hotel tomorrow to argue the bill in the occasion the manager of the hotel blesses us with their presence. Be prepared if you go there to not get a fair shake on price of drinks. And not have a manager on duty to speak to regarding issues during your stay here. Not inline with the Bonvoy brand. I’m posting a copy of the menu where “price per CL” is in the upper corner of the left column. I ordered something of the right column where this was not an apparent carry over.

Totally Overrated and terrible Customer Service. Was disappointed pretty much by everything but the coffee at breakfast. The front desk personal was extremely rude. The room was pretty Much on a bike lane. Zero privacy. When asked to change the room and ultimately the hotel I got even a smaller room. Not recommended.
